Somerset Recovery Partners, also known as Experts by Experience
(EbEs), have a valued role in helping Somerset NHS Mental Health Service Group staff and managers to understand how it feels to access services, or to care for someone who does.

We work in partnership with local NHS mental healthcare professionals towards achieving the NHS triple aim:
- Making the best use of resources for people with mental health needs
- Improving outcomes for people with mental health needs
- Improving service users' (patients') experience of care and treatment

Recovery Partners/EbEs are supported by a small team of 5, known as the People Participation Team. The team is made up of a Team Leader, 3 Support Time and Recovery Workers, a Team Secretary and a Volunteer Peer Support Worker.
